About this learning opportunity
Dr. Wolffe is a strong advocate for developing career education awareness for children with vision loss from a young age. This webinar will provide information and strategies that will assist professionals in supporting and reinforcing career education with parents in the: home, school, and community.
This learning opportunity is being provided through a grant from Alberta Education.
About the facilitator(s)
Dr. Karen Wolffe is currently managing a private practice as a career counselor and consultant in Austin, Texas. Her work, as well as her research and writing interests, includes the importance of career education, social skills development, transition issues, employment opportunities for persons with disabilities, and literacy in the workplace.
She is the author/co-author/editor of a number of books. A few you may be familiar with are:
