Spanish Language Arts teachers, Spanish Language Culture Teachers, Spanish Bilingual teachers, Spanish university students and Spanish speaking community members

Please note that most sessions will be presented in Spanish.

About this Learning Opportunity

The Spanish Conference VII Encuentro de Profesores de Español de Alberta is a professional development opportunity that will provide teachers of Spanish Language and Culture and Spanish Bilingual programs with strategies to support student learning. 

This Conference is possible through the collaboration of the Education Office of the Embassy of Spain in Ottawa, with Alberta Education and with Edmonton Regional Consortium.

This learning opportunity includes a keynote speaker and a choice of breakout sessions. There will also be a display of Spanish books sponsored by leading Spanish publishers.

Pre-registration for breakout sessions is required. Some of the sessions have maximum number of participants. Please register early to ensure you receive your choice of session.
