About this Learning Opportunity
This one day workshop is designed for teachers who have introduced project based learning to their students, and now wish to enhance the management of their projects. Prior to attending this session, we will send you a survey to gather your questions related to the management of your project. Sample questions that could be addressed at this full day interactive session include:
- How do I form and support high functioning teams?
- How can I involve external experts and the community in meaningful ways?
- I can I reduce the scope and time of my project?
- How can I enhance the use of technology?
We ask that you bring a project that you have recently completed, are currently working on with your students, or are just starting to develop. We will engage in you a process of examining your project, from beginning to end, to identify how to enhance the management of your project, and will in turn result in deep student learning.
Note: This session is designed for teachers who have taken the project based learning two day or three day workshop.
This learning opportunity is being provided through funding from Alberta Education.
