Involved in the teaching and learning of second languages? Then you don't want to miss Alberta's largest annual gathering of K-12 second language educators. Plan ahead for your Professional Growth Plan, personal and staff PD budget or even a school-wide PD day.

Over 30 practical and relevant sessions are planned, most presented by classroom teachers

Sessions for: FSL, ESL, ASL, French immersion, aboriginal, bilingual and language and culture (Spanish, German, Chinese, Japanese, Ukrainian, Hebrew, Punjabi, Arabic, etc.) Francophone teachers will also find many sessions valuable.

Consider offering a session if you:
-collaborate with L2 colleagues in an innovative way
-approach literacy instruction from a second language perspective
-plan instruction around authentic language use
-have interesting research or use of technology to share
-successfully engage students of all backgrounds, interests and abilities in L2 learning
-have great survival tips to share with others new to teaching a second language
-use a best practices or fabulous resource that your colleagues should know about

Presenters get free registration and a valuable addition to their professional portfolio.
